Description
This is one of Sandy’s mixed media paintings. Her use of vibrant water colors for the background may represent the northern lights surrounding Bear Butte which is scared to the Northern Plains Indians. Sandy likes to paint the different phases of the moon to represent the passing of time or different generation. The original is at the Pine Ridge Chamber of Commerce.
