This raw hide war shield was created by Native American
Marcelino Parisien of Bellecourt, ND. The outer circle
is the Lakota sun symbol with the medicine wheel with
the four direction colors. The bear track is a
symbol of strength in the shield. The shield has
four feathers that represent eagle feathers. |

This is a
bronze of two butterflies and was created by Chris
Powell a Cree Indian from Canada.
The butterflies spin on the shaft and is
approximately 15" inches tall. The base is a 2" inch
padded wooden pedestal. |

This purse is made from tanned Buffalo
hide with the hair on. The Purse itself is 9"
inches tall by 7" inches wide. Fringe on the
bottom is 8 inches long with the shoulder strap being
26" inches long and made from braided buffalo hide. It
is decorated with Sioux beads and red bone pipes with
brass spacers. Hand made by Verdell Long
Soldier of the Oglala Lakota Nation (Sioux)
